1 Corinthians 13 With Blue Eyes...

Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant,does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things 

Love never fails...

I met this love many years ago in the loneliness of my bedroom -it rescued my soul from despair and hopelessness for all eternity. Then years and years later, at the end of my broken road, I met this verses again one cold November night: they had taken the form of a man with blue eyes and all smiles -a lifetime waiting for his soul mate.

This time around I married him.

At the end of the day no matter the kind of day, I know he will be there just as he did the first day - I look into those twinkling constant letters disguise in blue and I'm happy happy happy.

1936 song Pennies from Heaven has become my paraphrase for James 1:17. 

The cute tune and jazzy tempo clicked somewhere in my musical soul and gave the verse a happy smile.

"Every good and perfect gift is from above coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow"

Or...

Every time it rains, it rains pennies from heaven 

Don't you know each cloud contains pennies from heaven

You'll find your fortunes falling all over town

Be sure that your umbrella it's upside down

Trade them for a package of sunshine and flowers

So, when you hear it thunder, don't run under a tree

There'll be pennies from heaven for you and me

And, as life turns this way and that, dark, confusing, ominous or happy, I hear James with the tune...

When it rains,  lift my hands as the upside down umbrella

receive my Fathers blessings,
